Khan Curry Hut Indian Restaurant

This place doesn’t disappoint you, the base of your curry is not the same so you get to experience so many flavours. The food is delish and they are a good portion. We ordered vegetarian food but also had their non vegetarian menu which is amazing. They are very helpful over the phone and in person. The prices are very good compare to other Indian restaurant around. Service is 5 and the food is 8

Food is above average. We ordered 2veg & 1 chicken starter and they all had the same marination and tasted the same. Their Biryanis are more liked a fried rice but they tasted good I asked for a hot one Nan bread was also cooked well. I am not a fan of curries so won’t comment on that but it wasn’t bad. They were open on Christmas Eve and serving hot food on table deserve a round of applause. All in all good experience

First ever restaurant I came across, that ask you to spend more than what you wish to eat if you want to dine in or go away yes we were told that. We had to eventually eat as all other restaurants were fully booked as it was 31st Dec evening. I kept insisting to talk to the manager, but I was told that he is busy back in the kitchen and will be back soon but never turned up. Wonderful customer service guys. Food - Expensive with below average taste everything tasted the same and quantity, Tandoori naan were either under or overcooked. Response to Owners comment - Let me correct you on couple of things that you have assumed on your own. We never said we were very hungry to secure a reserved table. I just asked if there is any table available and we were given one. It was as simple as that and not a favor you did to us. The review thing was not a threat as I was genuinely annoyed at your service. And yes - we were told that you can leave if you don't want to order more and the only reason we ordered more was because we were left with no choice by your staff than to order more and not because we were that hungry. And if there was even a slightest of customer service you care for, on numerous requests the manager should have turned up and have a chat with us since you know the whole history of what happened. And the only reason I didn't say anything while paying the bill was that my 5 year old daughter was nervous after the whole situation and I didn't want to drag it any longer because the manager wasn't showing up anyways and also didn't want to spoil the rest of our new year eve than it already was.

I ordered the family pack for dinner on a Sunday evening as a home delivery, there was something missing from my order, some rice. I phoned to inform and as we live some distance away it was easier to get a refund, and this was sorted with no dramas. Although missing something, the food, as always was amazing, fresh and super tasty. Will order again for sure. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is because I had to cook some microwave rice.

It has been several years since we have been here and we are so disappointed in ourselves for taking so long to come back. The service was spot on, the took a real effort to help us and were very friendly, the followed the current covid protocols and made sure we were seated exactly far enough from the next table. The food was spectacular, my wife loves her butter chicken, despite my efforts every time we go out to any indian restaurant in Victoria, she will only ever order butter chicken. Well, according to her, this place has the best butter chicken she has ever had. I of course tried it and yes it was very good, although, obviously I can't compare it to other places. My dishes were all lovely as well. It's been over a week since we went there and I'm only getting around to posting this now. But as I type this and look at these photos of the meal we had that night, I can tell you I now feel like going back there today. Highly recommended!!!

We ordered food from khan curry hut for my daughters birthday and everyone loved it. The quantity was more than enough and the taste was beautiful. Will definitely be coming back to them.

My family loves going here as we love ordering dishes we can share. This last visit it seemed like the dishes were a little on the smaller side, but still tasty. Plus, the cucumber salad I ordered instead of having rice should have been called onion salad. The onion chunks were to big and so difficult to eat they made my eyes water. I don't like to leave uneaten food behind but the onion was too much. We will be back but hope it's different next time.

We held, my son's birthday party at khan Curry Hut. Food was yummy and Fresh. Got more than 60 guests. Everyone liked food. Friendly staff and well organised. Will go for another party at their function hall soon. Lucky

I think for a small container charging $24.99 for a butter chicken is actually way to high for what you receive especially when you only get 6 or 7 pecices of chicken then the rest is sauce also if I wanted half a bag of sugar in my butter chicken I would have asked it is so sickly it doesn't need to be that sweet it's too much sorry but im honest and if take this in a negative way so be it but I'd rather give you my honest opinion. the only thing i really enjoyed was the garlic nann but pretty dogy with the garlic . thanks I won't be returning anytime soon.

Good dinner and wholesome food We ordered the Indian butter chicken which is wayyyy better than the Aussie version. And vego dal curry which was delicious. It is also opened later than some other local restaurants which is a plus.
