I bought the Happier Hours Wicked Wings and I think something is missing from our order there were only 12 wings instead of the 18 pieces we were supposed to get.nnI didn’t know the quantity because it was given to me in a closed box.
Last weekend I stopped by KFC Warrnambool City for lunch and decided to order a large Zinger Box. Hamish, the staff member at the counter, took my order with a friendly smile and quick service, which made the experience even better. The box came neatly packed and steaming hot, giving off that familiar, mouth-watering KFC aroma. The highlight, of course, was the Zinger burger — a crispy, golden fillet of chicken coated in KFC’s signature spicy seasoning, tucked between a soft sesame seed bun. The chicken had the perfect crunch on the outside and was tender and juicy inside. The burger was layered with fresh lettuce and a generous drizzle of creamy mayonnaise that balanced out the spiciness of the fillet perfectly. Alongside the burger sat the wicked wings, which lived up to their name. They were coated in a fiery blend of herbs and spices that left a satisfying heat on my tongue after each bite. The skin was crunchy and packed with flavour, while the meat inside was succulent and tender. The chips were thick-cut, golden, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt — crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. They were ideal for dipping into the small tub of potato and gravy that came in the box, which was rich, smooth and comforting. To top it all off, the meal came with a buttery dinner roll and an icy-cold drink that perfectly balanced the spice of the Zinger and wings. Overall, the large Zinger Box was a delicious, filling meal that satisfied both my hunger and my craving for something spicy and hearty. Hamish’s friendly service and the freshness of the food made it a great experience at KFC Warrnambool City.
Ordered a zinger bundle for $14.95. Took 15 minutes but everything was hot and fresh. Customised the zinger burger with bbq and chilli relish and it was much spicier than normal which was great.nnThey offer a free drink and chips if you post a Google review. To their credit they don't check what your review actually says having already 1000+ reviews.nnWhile it's clean and spacious inside, the constant beeping from counters make for a noisy environment to eat in.There are also 11 parking spots outside.
KFC Warrnambool delivers consistently great service, and the food is always fresh and delicious. A standout experience was thanks to Lachlan Astbury—an incredible employee whose professionalism and friendly attitude truly elevated our visit. Lachlan went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making us feel genuinely welcome. His attention to detail and positive energy are unmatched. KFC is lucky to have him!
Food was elite nice and crispy but also juicy. The service was immaculate with Hamish getting my order completely right. And the restaurant was looking shiny by how clean it was. Overall, an easy 10/10 experience.
