The Kensington Tavern has provided constantly good food for more than a few years. The menu is fairly simple, think big juicy steaks and classics such as fish n chips but the food is perfectly cooked. Notable service here just rock up to the bar and order from a good selection of tap beers and a small but decent wine list. This place is the model of the classic kiwi pub that many others could learn from.

Good old typical kiwi pub . They serve pub food . They also have the normal stuff like outside smoking area attached to bar . Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Best steak & mushroom sauce in whangarei . Service is great. Definitely a restaurant to visit. Staff are wonderful.
