The reason you come to Auckland from Wellington. Open till 1am - small, busy, and for good reason - great food. You feel like you’ve discovered a gem you would never find but in a bigger town.

Very very good food and experience, even better at some place I’ve visited in Tokyo, so grateful that they exist in New Zealand.

Great selection of small plates of food. The staff were attentive, friendly and quick, you can't ask for much more. The karaage chicken was amazing and what made it even better was smelling all the delicious meat skewers being cooked over coals while we were eating. Definitely give this place a try.

This is one of my favorites place in Auckland to grab a warm sake during those windy cold nights. The food is to die for, everything is mouthwatering. I literally got into a food coma once I left this place. Staff members are attentive and always ready to help you.

Great food, open late, well priced with free cabbage, what more do you want? It's all cooked over a charcoal grill the smoke of which fills the restaurant. So good.

Food okay but very overpriced. I remember this place being very good and not so pricey a while back. Not the same place I remember.

Nice and clean. Food was awesome. My really enjoyed my first visit. Only one thing that hard for us. Just a care park.
