Been to other Kathamandu store but never found such a nice customer service. I was there today to change the jacket that was ordered online, wrong size selected by me. One of the staff: Supriya helped ringing other stores to get the right size and finally able to get the one we were looking for. I appreciate her politeness and efforts to help customers. Keep doing the right thing. All the best
Good large store. Friendly knowledgeable staff. A good place to go to get some decent savings off last seasons designs. Only problem with this company is there is often an emphasis on form over function. Their proper technical range is there but sizing is always on the tight side.
A decent store. Doesn't have a huge variety but if you're looking fir the basics it's all there. In terms of bargain it's definitely nit the best option.
Picked up some absolute bargains. And they had M + L size jackets and jumpers, size 30/32/34 pants. Lots of options. Normally these outlets only have XS and XXL left but this one had slit of variation. Will return often.
Great range of items. Staff are non-intrusive yet helpful if needed. Quality products and great service. Clothing lasts and endures. Branding is usually not too flamboyant and in your face so it maintains the dignity of the product. Great bargains at outlets.
I was looking for a hiking pack, having done some online research but not really knowing much about it. The staff were able to help me with some basic sizing options, but didn't seem particularly interested in showing me all the different features. The end of winter sale prices looked amazing $399 down to $180 in one case but they're all Kathmandu branded products so I don't know if that's actually any better than what other shops sell. The warranty on them didn't look all that comforting either. Conclusion: I'll be shopping around, but there's a chance I might be back.
It's a lucky dip on if the staff actually want to help you here or not. Some staff are super helpful, others couldn't care less. They sell seconds here, but check your prices, because they are usually the same as what's on the shelf for non damaged stock.
Great experience with very helpful staff at Kathmandu Smith Street including Chris who went out of his way to help me with an issue I had with my new boots. I am very delighted with the outcome.
Ignored by staff. Waited for 5 mins for the staff to finish off with their customer, which was fine! thought it will be our turn but the female staff pick up the phone instead of serving us and was on the phone for at least another 10 mins for something not even urgent. No other staff was there to help. Walked out at the end. Bought it from Fitzroy store instead; staff was friendly, acknowledge us when we walked in, asked us if we needed help, provided good recommendations with good knowledge. Recommend the Fitzroy store and never return to the smith street store with terrible customer service.
