great one stop shop for all your (specific) outdoor travel needs. pretty huge, and well varied items and range. seems pretty well stocked too. but they aren't exactly cheap - though they are of good quality. staff are very nice and helpful here. the floorboards though, are pretty creaky and can be quite annoying.

Very poor service from clearly uninterested floor staff. You just lost a potential $250 sale. Good luck.

Nice store. Heaps bigger than it looks like from the outside. Of all the like stores in the CBD, this is my favourite. Not the cheapest or the biggest variety but the best quality clothing and packs. I used to buy the cheap stuff and replace it often. Now I pay more and buy it one time.

Purchased a PocketPack backpack from Kathmandu and the fabric de-laminated and fell apart after less than a year! The PocketPack had potential, I do not know why Kathmandu had to be cheapskates on the fabric. It was great to hear from Nina in customer support that fabric de-lamination is considered general wear and tear by Kathmandu (I'm sure Northface, MacPac, Marmot, Osprey, etc... would all agree with you). Kathmandu would not accept the product was faulty and would not offer to replace it under ACCC regulations. Terrible products and terrible customer service time after time - will never buy from Kathmandu again! For the record, Nina was great, everything else was not.
