The staff there are so helpful and knowledgeable. In particular, Abigail who served me, went above and beyond to make sure that I purchased the things I needed for my trip to Italy. She was most delightful and made my visit to the store a memorable one :.
The store staff is very friendly and the store environment is clean.
We went shopping to buy a winter jacket for our son who is going overseas soon, and we were served by the best shop assistant ever, Abi Abi was patient, helpful, knowledgeable,and went above and beyond to help our son find what he was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble for her. It's people like Abi who make you want to go back to a shop time and time again - she definitely deserves 'Employee of the Week'. Looking forward to being served by her the next time we visit Katmandu. Thankyou Abi!
They deserve 5 stars except for limited clothing sizes. Too small. I love their stock but I do think they should go up to larger sizes. Not all active people are flat chested or short. Women with big chests also hike!! I am also sure that no AFL players would ever fit into one of their XXXL jackets! There are also plenty of men and women that are taller than 6ft that want great active/hiking gear. We need to make active wear more accessible for taller and bigger people. They don’t need to go to extreme sizes but up to a size 20 should be the minimum for our active wear stores so that larger people can get fit and enjoy nice clothing too! Heaps of hiking gear to choose from. The staff are great and very approachable. Great products. Expensive but the quality of durable and reliable. Their new store location is much more convenient and I hope they are doing well in their new location.

Fabulous store. I'm a big fan of Kathmandu as think the quality is first class. I was in here 2 days in a row as the special rack in rear of shop had me interested. The manageress was on phone for quite awhile and I had to wait to ask some questions. Next day I went in and same again! Luckily though there was another employee who helped me out straight away. Some really good change of season deals! Whilst trying to find if another shop had what I was after, I discovered that they have a DFO at Jindalee. I will be out there as soon as I can! Apparently they have stock styles from couple of years ago as well as recent and some good deals. Finally got what I wanted and is being bought into this shop from another shop soon. They were really helpful and Andre was friendly and funny. I always have trouble walking past Kathmandu without going in for a look. Good shop.
What a great shopping experience ! The staff are very friendly and product knowledgeable. I was looked after by Danielle, over the course of two visits, with her experience and knowledge, she ensured that I got the best hiking boots for my needs and fit, I have not had this kind of service in years, thank you so much for all your help.
We were so impressed by the service of Danielle at the Chermside store. She is an absolute asset to the company and she was incredibly helpful with her time and advice in helping us with our purchases. Please pass on our thanks to her.
