I ordered takeaway from here. I arrived at the time given to pick my order up and had to wait another 45 minutes before it was ready!! What's the point of a pick up time!!!?? While I was waiting in the restaurant I also noticed their kids running around the place, playing with dolls, yelling, screaming. Not a very nice atmosphere - and I am not sure how hygienic it is having kids running in and out of the kitchen with their toys. I decided to give them another shot, this time home delivery. I ordered at 7pm and it arrived (unbelievably) over 3 hours later just after 10pm !!!! I could not believe it. By this time my family was in bed and I had fed them what ever I could find in the pantry/freezer! How disappointing !!!! I rang 3 times and was told, 20 minutes each time. It is a pity I pre-paid or I would have just cancelled by 9pm. As for the food: Round one (pickup) - I had butter chicken and the paneer dish, the paneer was ok but the butter chicken was horrible - I love a creamy buttery nutty saucy butter chicken, but it was non of these things. Round two (delivery) - well because I just wanted to go to bed at 10pm and not eat, I ate it the next day - my dish was Rogan Josh (requested hot), maybe because it sat overnight - I'm not sure but it was mostly oil and non of that beautiful rogan josh sauce you would hope for. Hubby had the butter chicken this time and was also very disappointed. Essentially - go to the other indian restaurant in bacchus marsh - they have a really nice butter chicken and no kids running wildly around their restaurant.
