Kando Martial Arts is one of Victoria's most successful and innovative martial arts centres, offering martial arts training for the whole family.

Story
Thank you for the interest in our club. At Kando we believe that martial arts is more than just punching and kicking. Do students at Kando know how to defend themselves? Absolutely! Any student that trains at Kando learns awareness and defensive skills to cover a large range of situations. But just as importantly, we believe in helping the student to reach their full potential in fitness, confidence and a positive outlook.

Kando Martial Arts is a blend of traditional (Shukokai) karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Philippine Martial Arts. We have been teaching children and adults for over 20 years, and are a part of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF) and Karate Victoria, the Government recognised Karate organisations.

Wonderful atmosphere & amazing classes for kids!nSuch a lovely, warm atmosphere here! The coach has an excellent, patient approach with children – really knows how to engage them and make learning fun. The classes are absolutely fantastic, so enjoyable and well‑run! I really appreciated that they offer a FREE trial class too – it let us try everything with no pressure. I was extremely happy with our experience, I highly recommend it to everyone!
Kando Rowville has been honestly amazing! Our 4 children attend karate and have all gained invaluable skills. They are always encouraged to do their best. We’ve also noticed a positive change in their behaviour and respect towards each other and to us. We as parents didn’t want to be left out, so joined the kickboxing classes which are so empowering! We’ve gained fitness, strength and a new community of friends. The whole team are so friendly and willing to help with any request! Highly recommend
My son has been attending Rowville Kando for the past two years, and it has been amazing to watch his development. He started in the Little Dragons program, where the instructors gradually introduced kicks, punches, blocks, and other techniques at a pace that was fun and easy for young children to learn.nnWhat I really appreciate is that they don't try to teach everything on the first day. They focus on helping children enjoy the environment, become familiar with the dojo, build confidence, and develop discipline step by step.nnThe instructors and senior students provide excellent supervision and support, ensuring every child receives guidance and encouragement.nnI also joined as an adult student, and it has genuinely changed my life. I feel stronger, more confident, and fitter than I ever did from going to the gym alone.nnAn outstanding martial arts school with a fantastic community. Highly recommended for both children and adults!
My sons Pavle annd Danilo absolutely love Kando in Rowville. They were made to feel so welcome from day one and instructors have been incredible kind, patient and supportive. We are so happy we joined. Highly recommend Kando in Rowville to anyone looking for a fantastic martial arts school.
Kando Rowville is the best!! Their commitment and connection with the participants is amazing and very genuine. The team is awesome and super hard working. I’ve seen my son grow and am really proud of the team and their efforts!!
