It's a little underwhelming, but gets the job done. 
Haven't had any problems here, staff have all been pretty friendly and easy going. Toilets and other facilities always fairly clean. 
There's a water bubbler with ice cold water for free, which is a nice perk.
My only complaint: Cafe hours are a bit limited.

Well designed small airport. Shame Angie's cafe doesn't open later, when there are known flights departing. Maybe needs a new hungrier cafe owner who opens longer hours,  or maybe Angie is related to someone on the Kalgoorlie Council, just saying, seems like Angie has been there forever. Move forward Kalgoorlie. Get a cafe leasee who wants to work and provide services, they are out there Council.

Honestly just can't stop coming back here, love the angry staff, the stressful environment and the way the security guy scans his own glasses on the x-ray and then has to squint to watch the monitor to make sure he hasn't left any drugs in them. 

Would I come here again? 
Probably in 28 days

Was stuck at this airport for 7.5 hours 
Was due to fly out at 9.am and didn't 
leave till 4.30pm. Qantas supervisor Lisa
was quite rude said I had taken up to much
of their time. As we were not kept very well
informed I had to keep going back to the counter. This obviously annoyed them but 
if they bothered to actually come out and explain to their customers what was going 
on maybe there wouldn't be a need to keep 
going over to ask as I had a connecting flight.
This was changed 3 times.
I would never fly in there again we could drive
