The T1 Indoor Deck is a comfortable space to wait for a friend with a coffee. For a truly realistic experience of a Dreamliner taking off, I recommend the Dreamliner Flight Experience. This indoor space, complete with large windows and panoramic views of the apron and runways, offers seating, vending machines, and flight monitors. As it's located on the landside before security, it's accessible to anyone who doesn't require a ticket.
No complaints from me really. I arrived internationally from Singapore and departed on a domestic flight to Melbourne. The Queue can build fast but the staff does a good job of handling the queue once it builds and their staff effectively handles it. I like that. No one likes a queue and that is a signal of inefficiency but here they see when it gets inefficient and staff is trained to alleviate it.
Coming from KLIA, Perth Airport feels very small and a bit quiet! It’s an easy and relaxed experience with short walking distances, but it definitely lacks the huge variety of shops and food we are used to in Malaysia. It looks like big upgrades are coming soon though, which will be great for future trips!
good stuff:nclose to woolworths, dfo, redcliffe stationnarrival is excellentnnbut for departure, we first go through security check at T4. then to the departure gates , but one more round of security check and identity scan through for international departures. once you get through there, there isn’t much. Crowded seats and so limited food options
Great airport, easy to get around, 0 hassles when checking in for departure and checking in luggage, and good cafes and shops as well.
