The place is pretty expensive given that our lodge doesn't include a bathroom - we have to use a communal bathroom and toilet outside. Having said that, the room is clean and comfortable, and comes equipped with a fridge, TV, electric jug, wardrobe, desk and a chair. There are basic toiletries, as well as tea & coffee. The pool is nice, and the bistro next to it serves good food - we had the grilled barra & chips, and the pork chop with plum sauce.

Big and pretty nice camping site/caravan park. 15$ for an unpowered site per night and person (wet season). They’ve got a massive pool right in the center of the circular park. There is a bar too, which serves food and drinks, including alcohol (for camping guests only). the beer prices are from 5.5$ (light) to 7$ (strong).

Great pool. Big grounds. Great food at the restaurant. Loved it! Second time I have stayed there in 4 weeks.

The guy at reception seemed to be highly annoyed with us. He wasn't interested in serving us, didn't smile, was unwelcoming and he was only just controlling his anger. That was when we booked in, he didn't know us from a bar of soap. It really set the tone. Very disappointing. The cabin was nice. The food was awful (sludgy lettuce and rubbery old chips),. I mentioned it nicely to the waitress but she didn't appear to be interested. The food was pricey too. Wouldn't go back, too depressing.

The Lodge room was basic but nice. The shower block was just about nice enough! The pool looked good, but it didn't open when it was supposed to. Kakadu Lodge is in a very good location for an overnight stay in the east of Kakadu (as is anywhere in Jabiru). The reception staff were great. The pool restaurant wasn't at all bad either. I would definitely consider staying here again.
