Really run down with dark rooms, super loud AC and derelict bathrooms. Not that cheap either. If you go during the wet, try Cooinda. We got rooms there for 50% off, at which point it's 100% better than Anbinik and cheaper! You may have to book at the last minute to get the discount but, no worries, Kakadu is empty during the wet.

Absolutely perfect.  Quiet and the room we stayed in was beautiful with open air shower air con, ceiling fan and comfy bed.
Highly recommend

Best place in town for dinner.  Really nice in the evening when the heat of the day has died down.  Good food and reasonably priced drinks.

Camped there about 18 years ago. Best caravan park in Australia. Loved the pool and the serenity. There's some great places nearby to adventure to as well, such as Abirr Rock. Will be going back in the dry season when life can fit it in.
