Just save your time and money. Find some other builder but not JG King Homes. Looks like 5* reviews are done by their own staff just to fool people. We building in Tarneit. Our double storey house construction started in April2017 and still not finished. Out of last 12 months, hardly 5 months tradies were there, as informed by neighbours. Contract was till 1st March2018. They have changed 5 supervisors for our job. Starting from Frames to tileing (current stage) everything got delayed by at least a month. Everytime we ask for delay, they give us excuse that supervisor left the job so new person will take time to get job started. Looks like they just moving supervisors to different jobs just to get more time to finish jobs. Farmers delayed by 30 days or so, kitchen delayed by month, plasterer and painters delayed too. Tiler delayed by over 40 days. Everything is so disappointing. Only thing they did very quickly and on time is signing the contract and send your invoices for every stage. Just unhappy with their time management. Stay away from them specially in western suburbs. We decided to build with them as it's a big company but looks like we took a wrong decision. My Son is supposed to go childcare in Tarneit from 1st March but it's keeps on delaying all our plans. My wife is due for second baby and our parents were supposed to come stay with us for sometime but we had to cancel their tickets as we don't have enough space in current apartment and nobody give lease less than 6 months. Want to write a lot of things but words are not enough to describe our disappointment. Just today I send an email asking about progress and been told in reply that Supervisor has left the company so new supervisor will contact us soon. This happened 5th time but they only tell us, once we inquired about house progress. They don't bother you about updating you with house progress except 1 supervisor for about 1 month or so.

FIND ANOTHER BUILDER Same story, different house. Full of empty promises, no-one actually cares about you or your home, rude office staff that are quite demeaning, constantly changing site supervisors (up to number 4 and definitely NOT lucky no.4!), our current supervisor does not answer our calls or responds to messages. Do yourself a favour and find another builder. Whilst everyone has their good and their bad, the consistency of JG Kings bad and lack of customer service is something you need to take note of. Don't fall into the same painstaking issues and problems as the rest of us who are writing reviews to help!

I don't need to write my long and lenthy review all I need to do is refer to Ryan Henry's of a month ago, he might as well have been describing our situation. PROMISED EVERYTHING AND GIVEN NOTHING..... So far we are 18 months in with no sign of a completion date, we were promised Xmas 2016, end of Jan 2017, February 2017, April 2017 (definitely by 1st week May) but nope, still paying storage fees, living with family and at the age of 65 I am fed up. I went with JG King because I thought they were reputable builders but how wrong I could be. Good luck to anyone who makes the mistake of going with this builder. UPDATE! It is now 17th October 2017 and still no further advanced and still no house............

Don't ever lodge a complaint. They won't even acknowledge it! They damaged our house whilst building next door in 2016 and its may 2017 without any rectification. Shame on you. Buyers beware. Neighbors beware. Don't give them access to your premises if they ask. They will disrespect your property by damaging it, not tell you and then muck you about when caught out.

I have been researching house and land options in Melton with JG King Homes. The staff are so helpful and supportive. My only stress is picking which option to go with as I love everything!
