Amazing Job from the Smarter team - Alan ( Designer ) and Frans ( Building Supervisor ) were exceptional to deal with, while all of the tradies were extremely professional and friendly. 

From installing protective floor coverings, staging the project to ensure my apartment was still liveable during the process, to cleaning up at the end of each day - the team made the experience as hassle free as possible. 

Nothing was too hard for Frans and his team ( including a few last minute changes and variations ), while the communication throughout the entire process was excellent.

As for the quality of the job and the attention to detail on the finish - I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended

Smarter Bathrooms delivered a five star bathroom. It was our first renovation and we were nervous about the process. We found Alan, Nick and their trades team to be professional, attentive to details and always willing to talk through any potential problems. We felt confident enough to move out and let them get on with the job. Very pleased with the result and would definitely hire them again.

Our project involved turning a big room in our house into an additional bedroom with an ensuite. As this was just a "shell" to begin with, we immediately noticed the confidence and certainty that the Smarter Bathrooms team showed in being able to run all the connections for water, drainage, waste, etc.

Alan was amazing into maximizing the use of space and creating a bathroom that would feel spacious and luxurious. He was able to conceptualize everything we had in mind, the final result from what we envisioned from his drawings easily surpasses what we imagined.

Once we signed off on the drawings, Frans did a fabulous job in managing the project. He ensured the scheduling of all trades ran like clock work for a timely completion. While readily contactable throughout the day, he would also personally check in on a daily basis to ensure quality workmanship across all different jobs.

Dealing with both Alan and Frans was such a pleasant experience, they are both so friendly and happy to promptly assist with any questions or queries. Their commitment to quality can be seen in the finished bathroom.

Perhaps, as per most renovations we had a very tight timeframe we were working to - we wanted to have the bathroom completed before the arrival of our baby. Needless to say Frans and Alan did everything they could and went above and beyond to achieve this timeline delivering a fantastic end result.

We are so pleased with the entire experience -  our dealings with Alan and Frans and all the trades who worked on this project, it is very obvious to see how everyone from Smarter Bathrooms is committed to not only a quality product but a great service too. 

The fact that they look after everything in every step of the process - from concept to completion made this project a breeze.

We highly recommend this amazing team and when the time comes for the next renovation, we will most certainly be back.

We chose Smarter Bathrooms for our family bathroom makeover because of Alan Nasrallah’s beautiful design. It incorporated everything we wanted and more within what we thought was a fairly small space. The finished result is so good you’d swear the walls had been moved outwards! The renovation process is extremely thorough and you are included at every stage. We liked how Alan as the designer was involved all the way through the process as well, and how our input was sought particularly at milestones such as tile laying and installation of accessories. The build team is thorough, explaining unexpected problems and finding solutions that don’t break the bank, honest (if they make a mistake they tell you and fix it), neat and tidy (bliss) and very good at what they do. If you have queries, even after the final bill is paid, the team will work with you to make sure you are happy. Yes, Smarter Bathrooms are expensive (although no more so than equivalent firms), however you get what you pay for and in our case we have a beautiful bathroom that delivers everything we wanted and more. Many thanks go to all the team especially Alan and our fabulous site supervisor, Kate Jukes. Highly recommended!

I wanted to put a dishwasher in my 1970s villa unit, which meant the whole kitchen had to be renovated to accommodate it – including demolishing a wall to combine the kitchen & laundry.

When I saw the fabulous job Smarter Kitchens did on my sister’s apartment’s kitchen & bathroom, I didn’t bother getting quotes from anyone else; I simply made an appointment to see Vanessa (Design Manager) to discuss the job.

Vanessa, Hettel (Design & Specification Consultant) and I were on the same page from Day 1.  Every planning meeting felt more like a catch-up with good friends than a business transaction.  Vanessa’s design was perfect for my needs and her product recommendations were spot-on.

Nick was my project manager and was an absolute delight to work with.  He kept me informed all the way as to what was happening when … and any issues or queries were resolved promptly.  I was concerned that the look of one of the wall tiles made it appear that it was cracked (it wasn’t, it was merely a “vein” in the stonework pattern).  No problem, Nick had the tiler replace it the next day.

Living in a group of units, I was also concerned about how much of an inconvenience my renovation would cause my neighbours.  My fussiest neighbour (he’s retired, so was at home while the work was happening) made a point of saying how polite, professional and considerate the crew was.  I couldn’t agree more – despite being a construction zone, my home was always left in a neat and tidy state with surfaces protected and doors closed to minimize dust.

Nick even liaised with the painter and the floor sander/polisher I had engaged in addition to the kitchen renovation and co-ordinated their schedules on my behalf.  Super-impressive!

I love, love, LOVE my new kitchen (completed on time and on budget) and highly recommend the Smarter Kitchens team.  My only regret is that I didn’t get in touch with them years ago.
