Had a sour taste left in my mouth today at Botany JB Hi Fi. The laptop we purchased had an advertised poster hanging up on the ceiling saying you get a $50 in store voucher but once getting to the counter for transaction, the system is loaded to give you a $25 voucher instead. The manager named Ollie was called to the scene and showed no customer service and didn’t seem to be apologetic at all. $25 is not the importance here. It is the principle that one of the staff members accidentally made a false advert and so as a customer I believe I have the right to expect the manager to honour the price it was shown. Instead I received a stare that said ‘too bad’ all over his face!
