We went to buy An i pad & I phone 15May 2025 today  . The only person acknowledged is was the Security Guard on the entrance.nAfter 10 minutes my partner asked a staff to assist us to which we told to wait as he will call someone. We waited for 30+ minutes no response, just when I was about to walk out my partner again asked one of the staff who was busy doing something else to see if he can call sales staff again no luck . Anyhow this young fella with long hair assisted us although it wasn’t his job but thank you . We ended up buying phone but they had no IPad in stock we were after .nThe lady on the counter was helpful but lacked the smile on her face which she would have looked more pretty. Over all I believe the staff lacked the sense of hospitality & urgency.nWe felt ignored, we are a company hiring new staff and need iPads & iPhones for staff  every now & then ,but no future business for this particular shop.

Visited JB Hi-Fi specifically to get advice on home surveillance and security cameras and had one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had in years.nThe first staff member I approached was standing around talking to his friend and pretending he was helping a “customer.” When his friend left and I tried to ask for help, he immediately avoided me and practically ran away instead of assisting.nI then went to the front counter and asked for support. They sent someone over who clearly had no knowledge of home security cameras at all and could barely string together a coherent, grammatically correct sentence. She couldn’t answer basic questions and offered no useful guidance whatsoever.nSo in a store that supposedly specialises in electronics and tech, I couldn’t find a single staff member who could competently help with a very common product category.nIf you want real advice, go to Harvey Norman. If you just want the cheapest price, buy online Dick Smith had the same product $400 cheaper. JB Hi-Fi offered neither expertise nor service. There was absolutely nothing of value in shopping here on this occasion.nComplete waste of time. Won’t be returning.

I had a disappointing experience at JB Hi-Fi Toowoomba today. I visited the store regarding a garage door opener that had stopped working while still under warranty.nnAfter being redirected to the service counter, I waited over 30 minutes before assistance even began. Although the replacement process was eventually handled, the final step required a manager’s authorisation. Despite multiple calls over the microphone, it took another 10 minutes for someone to arrive, leaving both myself and other customers waiting unnecessarily.nnIn total, the visit took around an hour for something that should have been resolved much more efficiently. Given the store’s central location where parking is limited, this was particularly frustrating.nnOverall, the service was slow and poorly coordinated. Unfortunately, this experience has affected my confidence in returning.

I had an excellent experience at JB Hi-Fi Toowoomba, thanks to Oliver! He went above and beyond to help me with my iPhone warranty repair. After getting my phone back, I faced issues transferring my data, and Oliver patiently took care of everything. He used a MacBook to complete the transfer and made sure everything was restored perfectly. Throughout the process, he was incredibly patient, polite, and answered all my questions clearly.nnIt’s rare to find such genuine customer service these days—thank you, Oliver, for your outstanding support! JB Hi-Fi Toowoomba is lucky to have you.

I went into store today with my son concerning SIM cards after following some poor advice. We hit the absolute jackpot and were helped by Oliver. He was brilliant! Knowledgeable, patient and helpful - unraveling and resolving the issues with efficiency. Then he finished up by helping with a new plan that would save serious money every month! Highly recommended seeing this lovely helpful young man!
