Hi,nWe picked up a Family Dreamliner caravan back in 2021 just before the Christmas period.nnSales team and handover was no issues all went pretty smooth. Issues started when we began to use the caravan and had several issues arise.nnOver the first break the washing machine leaked and flooded the caravan. Ofcourse all there after hours numbers and we could not get a hold of anyone as it was during the Christmas break. I ended up removing the washing machine myself to find loose connections to the plumbing! Other issues came up and the caravan went in for a couple minor repairs, some things were fixed and some issues kept repeating like the sensor lights playing up and water leaking through a skylight.nnCaravan went back several times. The warrenty manager Effie has the worse communication skills and does not reply to emails or phone calls!! We had a major issue with the checker plate around the whole caravan as it was faded really bad within the first 6 months. After calls and calls finally they agreed to replace it.nnIt was booked in and then the day before it was scheduled I phoned up to let them know I’ll be dropping it off first up to be told that The warranty manager who booked it in with me via an email with the exact date did not put the job in the system so I could not bring it in then!nnEventually 4 months later they got me in. Repairs were done. I requested all photos before after and during the process to ensure no damage to the van to receive 5 photos after chasing and chasing this was in December 2023 and still yet to receive the required certificates of safety!!!nnSome other warranty items were meant to be attended to whilst it was in. They were not and I sent an initial email on 16/01/2024.nnAfter chasing and chasing again fornMonths on end I got a reply last night after 10pm on a Saturday night saying that she thought the issues were all fixed!!!!!nnFixed how when you have not even replied to an email from January to now!!!nnThe after service really tells you about the company. Patricia in service is an absolute legend and has always tried to sort things out but it’s the warranty manager that is making JB caravans look really bad!!! I would not purchase anther JB caravan because of this!!nnSpending so much money you want to know you have the after sales warranty and service without the additional headaches!!! I understand there being issues but things need to be addressed and resolved.nnSo still to date, we have issues and no dates to get things fixed!!!nnPlease stay away from JB caravans for your own benefit! There are plenty other well known brands out there!! Do yourself a favour.
Went to the Caravan & Camping show in Melbourne on Saturday 25 Feb. Was ready to put down a deposit & order one of your caravans. That was until I went to walk into the caravan we wanted to order and a salesman approached with a couple and told me to move out the way because he wanted to show them the van.nThe rudeness of this salesman cost you a sale and we put a deposit down with another company. I would urge everyone to think twice before dealing with this company. Very rude and unprofessional.
Disgraceful after sale service. My friends have been struggling for eight months to get their caravan repaired due to major warranty issues on the start. Avoid JB caravans at all cost
Absolutely terrible to deal with. No follow up. No respect towards people in their manner.n*Response to owner*nResponding to criticism with a deflection pointed at the customer rather than showing the ability to take accountability is a sheer example of exactly what people should expect if they deal with you.nLack of accountability and no professionalism.
