Extremely disappointed with the service I received from Jayco Darwin.nnI contacted Jayco Darwin because I have a 3-way fridge in my caravan that has come loose and needs to be properly reinforced. I initially spoke with someone in the relevant department, who asked me to send photos so they could assess what was required. I sent the photos, but received no follow-up.nnAfter calling again several days later, I was told someone would contact me. Once again, nobody did. I called again the following day and finally spoke with someone who apologised and admitted that he hadn't even opened the email containing the photos. He said he would review them and call me back that day.nnOnce again, no call.nnI had to call again, and this time I was told that more photos were required. I was also told they were busy, but that they would put me in contact with someone who worked on the side for them, Mitch from Top End Van Repairs. Jayco said he would review the photos and assess the job. I was also looking to have my wheel bearings serviced, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to have both jobs organised.nnJayco passed my details on to Mitch, and I was expecting him to contact me. When I hadn't heard anything, I sent him a message asking him to call me so we could organise a time. The message was read, but I received no response. I then called him, but he didn't answer. I left a voicemail and waited, but still received no response. I followed up again and was completely ignored.nnI am travelling around Australia and don't have the luxury of staying in one place for extended periods. I contacted Jayco Darwin well in advance in the hope of having this organised by the time I arrived in Darwin. Instead, after multiple calls and repeated promises of follow-up, I was effectively passed on to someone else who completely ignored my attempts to organise a paid job.nnI have since seen other reviews mentioning about Top End Van Repairs similar issues with a lack of communication, which makes this experience even more disappointing.nJayco Darwin had multiple opportunities to assist me, but the entire experience was extremely unhelpful and completely unsatisfactory. I was simply trying to get a paid job organised, yet I was repeatedly left chasing people and ultimately ignored.nnI am extremely disappointed that Jayco Darwin could not provide better support or follow through with the assistance they promised. This is not the level of customer service I expected from a well-known Australian caravan brand.nVery disappointing and, in my experience, completely unsatisfactory.
Our pump had failed and needed to be replaced we were on the road into Darwin called and explained only there for 4 days. Fitted us in, new pump installed back on the road the same days. Awesome service and great guys. Recommend to everyonenThanks guys
parts department gave me the run around for over 3 months. Communication was absolutely terrible. Brandon never followed up with the warehouse in a timely manner and never got back to me when he assured me he would, then Stopped responding to my emails in the end. I was always the one having to send another follow up email or call them and find out an update. Justin was slightly more helpful but in the end had the same problems. All of this over something that wasn’t their fault and completely out of their control. All they had to do was communicate with me and they couldn’t do it. After over 3 months of emailing and approximately 25 phone calls, I called around a few other dealers and had one here in 2 days.
We had the pleasure of dealing the wonderful team at jayco darwin this past week and it was the best overall experience ive ever received from buying anything not only was the team super responsive helpful and very understanding. They have opened up a whole new world for me and my family not to mention the day of pick up they helped me with everything from the finance on the van to helping me understanding my first van to even borrowing a hitch and light adapter to get the van home we were absolutely blown away we visited there shop on a Saturday and on Wednesday I was towing the big basestation home. 1 call changed our future.nnThe team was by far the best team to have ever delt with from finance to collection to even the support after I got it home is outstanding couldn't recommend anyone better the the team at jayco darwin.nnThanks guys our family love the van and we can't thank the team enough
