Oh my gosh we had the pad thai. Amazing! We hail from melbourne and this pad thai was amazing! We also had breakfast a couple days later and the food was great!nHighly recommend!
Quite possibly the worst Thai food I’ve ever tasted. We ordered two different dishes. Both were horrible. The green curry was barely edible and the red one wasn’t even that. Nothing authentic about them. And I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food, in a lot of countries. Everything about this was so off.
I had Pad Thai and a smoothie here for the first time, and it was such a nice experience! The place has a great selection of dishes and drinks, and it’s a lovely spot to stop by when visiting the small town of Taumarunui. Easy, relaxing, and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Got the red curry duck, because I love red curry and I love duck. You know they did a killer job when the plain rice is running out faster than the curry. Just a drop of sauce and the rice tastes delicious. The pineapple, the duck, the longans, amazing. I've never had a curry with longans in it, but damn they slap. Wasn't even that hungry when I walked in, but I made sure to put that all away. Just passing through but thank you all for the best curry I've had in a while.
Aroy mak! Best Thai food I have had since I was last in Thailand. I came for dinner while on a bike tour and it was so good I came back again the next day for lunch when leaving town. I will eat at Jasmines again the next time I am back in Taumarunui.
