Good fresh tasty food and great customer service. UPDATE: Arcade cafe now has the best chicken and chips I have ever tasted. Amazing! I recommend you try it!

Great authentic old style kiwi cafe, spacious, efficient and friendly. Timeless classics like mince on toast served with crisp watercress, and cheesecake made on the premises. Nice mix of European and Maori staff, and similarly customers. The locals come here - always the best indication of genuine Kai (food).

They are everything you would want in a place to eat and more. We were greeted with hugs and our food was made to order any way we wanted it! They even offered to open early for us if we needed them too. And the food, oh yes - the homemade desserts were awesome. Kiwi breakfast - perfect! I would eat there everyday if I could. Taumarunui's best! Aloha from Hawaii!
