I am adding this for two reasons. One the earlier bad review and secondly because I am extremely happy with this group. They went to an extra length to help me which was much appreciated as I had moved here and I have been very unwell. Graham and your partner, thanks for the help it was very much appreciated by this poor dear lost soul.

I have given Jacobs Removals one star, and that is because they are punctual. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can think to say about them. While our belongings were being unloaded from the truck I was dismayed to see a favourite piece of furniture arrive upside down. Other pieces of furniture were handled roughly. Boxes clearly displaying red "fragile" stickers were delivered under heavy boxes; e.g. those marked "books". Several items had been damaged, scratched and scuffed. We have moved several times, a few times between different countries, and this is the first time any of our belongings have been damaged during storage or transit. Over the past few months I have telephoned the owner of the business and written an email attaching photographs of (some) of the damage. The owner offered to try and fix a bookcase himself the day it was delivered (I didn't think it would be easy to repair, and it wasn't) but has not replied to my email or apologised for any of the other damage.
