Still fairly upset by what happened here. We arrived in Tasmania with an idea of a fresh start. Looking for a used car around $22k we found one on the lot at Jacksons Ford. We entered the dealership and almost immediately were 'set on' by the sales manager. He said if you love the car then why dont you buy it? No offer of a seat or a drink and my partner was tired from walking. We were treated badly and looked up and down like we were homeless people well, we actually are lol. We cannot get a loan because we have no fixed address and no employment. My partner has had open heart surgery at the age of 68. We had the money to buy the car. My partner told the sales manager he wanted to buy it without a test drive. The sales manager went to the car lot to get the information on the car and when he came back said that we could not buy the car - because they made a mistake on the price. I said we should be able to buy the car at the advertised price and he said ' nice people dont do that' and that if we tried to take the matter further "it would not end well for us" I wrote to complain to Ford Australia and they said it was a matter between us and the dealership. They did not seem to care that the sales manager was rude and intimidating. What are your thoughts? Should they sell us the car at the price they had it advertised at?
Came here with some mates when we were looking for first cars just exploring dealerships and seeing what type of car would suit us and these guys were awesome! They let us sit in the Mustang!

JMC have informed me that their response below was an error from someone in marketing and their position is the same. So no change. When reading reviews it does look good if JMC reply but the reply is a mistake apparently. So it's a bit like my FORD LEMON it looks nice but just sits doing nothing. It seems my last review has been removed. The truth hurts maybe. They are happy when you are buying a new car, but don't want to know about it when problems arise. MY NEW FORD ONLY DID 36,000 KMS. THEN I WAS TOLD I'D NEED TO SPEND $10,500 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. FORD "GO FURTHER " IS THEIR SLOGAN MINE DIDN'T GO FAR AT ALL. Checkout all the shocking stories / reviews from Ford owners, on Product Review Australia. They should be embarrassed. JMC nor FORD would cover repair cost. Problem is the Powershift transmission. There is a class action going on now in Australia. Modern cars are not built to last, many are dangerous and are effectively expensive rubbish designed for a throw away world. Do your homework people. All the old cars I've owned during my life, all did more kms than my new modern vehicle. BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY THAT TURNED OUT TO BE.
Only fully vaccinated people are welcome to buy cars here as of today. So what happens to those that have just bought new cars and now not welcome there? What an absolute disgrace. Will never be returning and I've been a long time customer. Plenty of other places that will be happy with my money. Guessing seaport will be the same? Time to boycott everything that Erol Stewart owns. Absolute disgrace.

Enquired about a vehicle twice, to be told that it was currently with their service department as it had a couple of minor issues. Salesman advised me that he would give me a call back as soon as it was back in the yard. A few days later I received a notification from Car Sales advising that the vehicle had been sold.
We recently purchased a New Suzuki Vitara from Jackson Motor Company and was astounded to find the vehicle was presented to us with only 1/2 tank of fuel. Over the years we have purchased many new vehicles from various companies, but never have we ever been presented with a vehicle that didnt have a full tank of fuel. After spending that amount of money I am sure another $30-$40 wouldnt break the company. Shame on JMC. The salesman was fine but the company has a lot to learn about customer service. Will NOT recommend anyone to your company if they are looking to buy a new vehicle..
Got our subaru serviced here. They told us the battery was no good and then then within a week the battery died, so i would say their advice was correct. We get our car serviced here often as the price is more competitive than the subaru dealership just up the road. Go figure...
