This place used to be great and then slipped badly. I'm pleased to say that on the last three recent visits it's back to being really great, care in the kitchen in particular has seen the quality of the food go back to being a very high standard. I recommend this place again now.

A good late night hangout spot with mates! Very generous portion if you are keen for a good feed. Although the quality of the food may be inconsistent at times, overall it's a very positive experience coming here!

I ordered a red bean slushy drink, 3 people come in 1 by 1 and they recieve their drinks before me. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. I didn't mind at first, but more people came in for drinks and got theirs before me. I ended up leaving because the wait was just too much for a simple drink and it was evident, they weren't making my order. Don't visit this place, I don't think I've ever had to wait that long for a drink before. I'd recommend Hulucat if you're after bubble tea or milk tea. The food at J's tea is also terrible. My first visit wasn't very pleasant either, but I gave them another chance with the drinks. Never again.

The only one of REAL Taiwanese food in Auckland. They have best food and bubble tea. Must try it.
