I don't know how this place get such a good rating. There is no customer service, my booking were all mix up and try to told me off for being late. The witness cleanly don't want to be working. The meal come with drink, but they won't serve us coffee. The salad with the meal has gone bad. The seafood chowder taste like powder soup. The place is pretty much empty..I know I won't go again.

Amazing service and care from the employees.  Great coffee and snacks. Just need more coffee in the takeaway cups instead of foam then would be five star all the way.

I moved into the area just under a year ago and I was looking for a place that i can relax in, enjoy a good meal, and a cold beer while I watch my favourite sports game, Chilli Bar and Cafe catered for all of this . . . Well, very well in fact. 
I frequent here often when I am back in Auckland after my heavy traveling, the bar is always clean and tidy with a simplistic, stylish enough decor and great soft lighting for all occasions. The dinners I have had here (and I've had meals here often) are superb! Recently the menu changed and well it was already good, now it's great and I've enjoyed all of the different meals I have chosen. Tony Mathew your night time host is simply superb. Always greeting you with a smile, he takes the time to know your name, know your drink preference and converse with you on many topics. A great host! More recently I have dropped in to enjoy a good (like really good) coffee and a really nice breakfast. If your in the neighbourhood then I recommend you drop in, it's a hidden little gem this place and I'll be a frequent visitor for a long time to come. Cheers
