Since owner Anh Nguyen has taken over Island View Cafe over the past 17 years, she has created a true local establishment which contributes greatly to the success and character of Wynnum Bay.

definitely not worth going back. Chips tasted like old oil and calamari was so chewy it was hard to swallow. Sorry but wasn't a good experience for us. But it was clean looking.
Great little cafe
Chips were okay. Asked for plenty of chicken salt and it was miserably poor. Usually they are pretty good and price is fair so I kept it at 4 star. But if you want something make sure to remind staff just incase you have some dry chippies.
Quick service, hence the one star. Calamari thick and rubbery and no lemon included which made them virtually inedible. Potato scallops also oily and thick. Very average. Very disappointed.
The Bayside Burger was delicious and the staff were super friendly and very accommodating we only wanted a small helpful of chips and they were happy to help great views and places to enjoy the food across the road ad well Right on the water. Prices were very reasonable.
A very casual small fish & chips outlet with a really good quality menu and value for money meals. My go to along the Esplanade
Don’t get coffee in here. It was BITTET AF we threw away after one sip. Mccus makes a better coffee than this.
Fresh and great selection. Burgers to Fish&Chips to salads and ice creams. Always busy and usually pretty quick wait time. Somewhere around 10-15 mins when busy. Not a huge area to sit but there is plenty of seats and tables across the road
Ordered the hamburger, it was freshly made from real mince,. Very well cooked and still juicy, the salad was fresh too. Bakery bun was lovely. Coffee made to the high temperature that I like as well. Would highly recommend this place. Happy
Terrible service. Younger lady working there did not want to be at work and it showed.
