Story

Incubator Recording and Mastering studio has been built on 15 years of recording experience. We specialise in recording a variety of sound, from voice-overs through to hip hop, metal, rock, psycho-billy, folk and pop. At Incubator we enjoy all styles of music, as our love of music includes a wide variety of genres and we have recorded many styles of music over the years.
Located in Thornbury in Melbourne's inner north, our inner city location offers easy access from all over Melbourne. We are easily accessible by public transport, and have convenient parking.

We welcome musicians and vocalists to come in and see our recording studios prior to making a booking for your next CD or demo recording.
In addition to physically seeing our studios, we give you the opportunity to listen to recordings and CDs we have produced in the past. By listening to the studios work it gives you the chance to get a “feel” for the style of producing and mastering that’s possible. It also allows you to communicate your sonic desires to the engineer. This consultation gives you the opportunity to meet the engineer and gauge what sound you would like on your next CD or demo recording. This is a free service to potential customers wanting the best value and the highest quality recording sessions.
If you’ve never recorded before, then come in and meet the sound engineer/producer to discuss your recording needs. We are able to help with every step of the process, and get you on the way to recording your next CD or demo. We offer a complete recording and music production service and are happy to discuss and plan your next recording project. After all, an understanding of the recording project and the expectations from both parties is necessary to ensure the success of the project.
