Crystal Mastering is a Melbourne based studio specialising in CD mastering. Not only can we master your next release for CD, we are also experts in vinyl mastering as well as mastering for iTunes.

Story

The studios at Crystal Mastering specialise in mastering for vinyl, CD & iTunes. Director, Joe Carra has been mastering for the last two decades and has built an exquisite, hi-end mastering facility.

The mastering suites at Crystal house only the best equipment, from industry leading manufacturers such as Manley Labs, GML, Buzz Audio, API, Weiss, Crookwood, Shadow Hills, and Lavry.

The mastering rooms at Crystal have been designed by Australia's leading acoustic expert, Peter Brown, and give the engineers the ultimate working space to master audio in.

Our engineers not only do work for major labels, but also enjoy sitting down with home recording artists and discussing projects. The team at Crystal offer free mix appraisals which can be invaluable for artists planning on recording their own release. The engineers can offer advice, critique mixes as well as refer artists to other mixing engineers should they feel the need to bring a more experienced set of ears on board.

Mission

Our primary goal at Crystal Mastering is to provide not only audio mastering of the highest caliber, but to back this up with the same level of customer service. It's something that a lot of business claim to do, however very few deliver on this promise.
