Story

It is under an experienced and passionate guidance that Marcus, chef/owner runs his kitchen at Il Grappolo. All our dishes are created according to traditional recipes the chef acquired along the way during his extensive travels around Italy. To enhance the authenticity of our Italian cooking, only the best imported and local produces are used. Tucked away from the main roads, head on over to Rozelle where the freshness of Il Grappolo is calling you.

Calimari entre was excellent , Pork with pumpkin puree and finally.. just managed a share of Tiramisu.Lovely evening.

Absolutely superb homemade pastas with intense flavours and pizzas cooked just right - ragu, seafood and their special orrichiette pasta of the day were all amazing. Veal scalppione with lemon was also very tender, everything was in generous portions, there was nothing to fault at all! Also only $1.50pp cakeage and $6 per bottle byo wine. A great value local neighbourhood restaurant with a relaxed casual vibe. Great place for a night out with friends!

Food is good as my first visit but it’s totally disgusting for the service and the water jar jugs that they used on tonight. Hopefully whoever read this review would not drink the water that pour from the metal jar jugs as at the bottom of the jar jugs are rusty. When discover the metal jar jugs are rusty, report to the server who told me off that I should not take the water jar jugs and I should be seated and wait to be served. From this incident, I’m sorry, no matter how good your food is, I would DEFINITELY NOT step into your restaurant anymore. If it could be place negative or 0, I will not hesitation to do it.
