I was in the institute (Camberwell) for a pose of false eyelashes (buy on Groupon). Unfortunately, the posing of false eyelashes is impossible on me because I blinks too much when they are closed. The team was lovely to me. We tried several times but since the pose is impossible on me, they offered me a facial massage to replace my pose. Thanks you to the team, I spent a great time!!

Well my previous feedback has been deleted. I'm not one to leave bad feedback, but considering my terrible experience, I will this time. 
Not only was the girl late by over half an hour, but the things they put under your eyes, kept being pushed into my eyes by the girl which caused a lot of irritation. I guess 15 minutes was dedicated just to moving those little things around under and INTO my eyes. 
After they were done, they looked like spider legs on my eyes. They were the biggest things I've ever seen and very thick and plastic looking. 
I had to cut them because they looked so bad. When my eyelashes fell out, I noticed that on one of my eyelashes, there would be 3 massive thick plastic fake eyelashes attached. Just to the one of my little eyelashes. 
I've been to a few eyelash places and nothing like this. 
I got this is a voucher on Groupon for $49 and it was 100% not worth that!

so i came here to write a review about my 5th facial i got today with this beauty salon 😊👌and found really disappointing to read some bad review about the same services i got i don't know what bappened with that lady but i would really like to voice my opinion on what a lady said about the way they do it and product they use i mean wouldn't you ask all that information before booking....any way i love going there again n again and thanks to my sister for recommending me this place cause every time i go there for all different services i find them as good as they were at first time thank you team ikonic 👍

I purchased a 'Diamond or Pearl' facial from Groupon for this salon. When I got to the salon it was locked and no one was there. I waited a few minutes and the woman arrived and apologised. We went inside and she went around turning the lights on and booting up the computer, which was already giving off alarm bells to me as you expect when you get a facial for the room to be ready, music on etc. There was no music at this place. She thought I had come to get my lashes done and when I said I was there for a facial she said "oh okay come with me" and took me to this room out the back with a salon bed and no basin or anything. She filled up a small plastic bowl with water from the hallway and told me to lie down. 

I then asked what the difference was between the two facials so that I could choose. She said "the pearl facial makes your skin whiter and the diamond facial makes your skin more shiny" - both options were very unappealing! I chose the diamond as I didn't want my skin to be whiter and didn't recognise the products she was about to use. 

She then proceeded to slather various creams onto my face, vigorously applying it all over - including my eyes and my mouth. I had to clamp my lips together so that it didn't go into my mouth. She turned a steamer on for a bit. Then a customer came in the front so she called for them to come out the back into the room we were in and had a conversation with her - while she was still working on me - about doing her eyebrows. She then applied some sort of mask to my face and left to go and do the woman's eyebrows. While I was lying there her phone was behind me and kept going off as she received messages. 

Once she finished that she came in and sat behind me and I heard her messaging someone (which she later said was just her turning off an alarm, even though I know the tones iPhones make when you're typing and when a message sends). At that point I asked her to take the mask off because I was over it. She took the mask off with actual BABY WIPES and then said it was finished. I complained to her about the service and the methods she had used and she said it was a typical style of Indian facial. I said that neither the Groupon voucher or their website mentioned it was an 'Indian facial' and that I would like my money back. She was apologetic but said I should watch some youtube videos on Indian facials.

I have taken this up with Groupon - but for anyone else out there considering it, I would certainly not recommend!
