The room was basic, comfortable, and clean. The mattress was comfortable as were pillows. Tea and coffee facilities were nice with a big TV. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. Numerous fast food outlets within 2 minutes walk. There is also the ability to buy drinks and snacks at reception. Close proximity to both domestic and international terminals.
I know it's a budget hotel, but cleanliness should be a non-negotiable. The room is tiny and dusty, the bathroom awkward and the shower soaks the floor. There's even a notice telling you to keep the bathroom door shut or you may incur a $1500 fine if the steam sets the fire alarm off! Charming! The reception staff didn't say a word, just handed me the key card and that was it. No directions, or welcome. The only positive is that the bed is comfortable but I'd hate to see what is under the sheet! And we can apparently walk to the domestic terminal in 10 minutes. That remains to be seen! Wouldn't stay again, and certainly wouldn't recommend. I've stayed in nicer backpacker hostels.
In my opinion you can't beat the location for the price. We needed an overnight to fly into Sydney and out to Jakarta the next day. The room was not large, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a ledge in the bathroom above the sink for our toiletries - something I appreciate when there is no counter around the sink. Don't plan to dance in the bathroom - it's small, but completely functional. No closets, but for an overnight that was unimportant. There is a small desk space with a stool if you needed to do a little work. There are vending machine snacks and beverages available. The hotel next door has more substantial food such as breakfast until 10 a.m.
Managed to book a room fairly last minute as my flight was cancelled and moved to the next day. Within walking distance of the airport although I Uber'd for $13. The room was nice, and the bed was very comfy. Plenty of floor space for luggage and even a mounted device for holding a suitcase I think, didn't need to use it. The shower was a bit annoying since there was low water pressure, but this was because of there being no door or curtain to stop water going everywhere. Food & drinks: Various drinks and snacks are available at the front desk, but there are plenty of restaurants available to order from nearby, off Uber Eats.
Firstly, the staff were lovely - can't fault them. That said, if you can afford to fly, you can afford to stay somewhere better. Stayed here for work and was a 10 minute stroll through the rain from the airport. Clearly the term budget extended not to the price, but their approach to managing at hotel. There was a choice of lifts, one with no lights and the other with no working buttons. Wandering through the halls and staring at the carpet, I got to play everyone's favourite hotel game of "I wonder what bodily fluid caused that stain?" The rooms were tiny. Apparently it was a queen sized bed - but my legs not just feet were hanging out the end. Speaking of hanging - instead of a wardrobe. the good people at Ibis have replaced it with a single hook in a room. I went to iron a shirt. No irons in the room, but apparently there was a laundry room where we could use the communal ironing facilities. Rather than go to the expense of buying a decent iron and board for the whole hotel to share, Ibis remembered the other part of their name "budget" and bought the cheapest iron and a flimsy ironing board. Words can't describe how poor this place is. As I said at the beginning, lovely staff, just let down by a poorly designed and poorly fitted out hotel.
Room was so small we couldn't fit our bags in the room. Mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. Hair on the towels, Basin was in the shower. For $200 a night I'd almost prefer to sleep in the airport. Definitely not a recommend place to stay unless you have no option. Budget means budget I guess.Rooms: 1/5
The room was not ready when I checked in and the reception blamed housekeeping! Not something a guest wants to hear. I was promised a "nicer" room to make up for this. The bed was clean but the room was very tiny, outdated. The walls, doors and windows are paper thin. I was not able to sleep the entire night and the hallway was noisy throughout the night. I even think someone knocked on my door at 2 am. While I understand that this is a budget hotel, there are better hotels around the area. I stayed here for a night and I won't be coming back.

Decent budget hotel located very close to domestic airport and short drive to international airport. Rooms are basic but were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly at the reception. Only point I'd make is that rooms are not very soundproofed so you can hear airport noise, but for one night before a flight it's not really an issue.Rooms: 5/5
The room and bathroom were tiny, but that's alright considering its a budget hotel at Sydney airport. However, i found hairs on the bathroom floor and some flies pics attached, which is not acceptable. On th other hand, attention was nice. I would probably recommend another hotel unless you are budget-limited. Walkability: Narrow entrances Food & drinks: Just coffee and bending machines
