We came into the store and were greeted by Tom, he was very helpful and friendly. He did his very best to find me the right pair of shoes. Unfortunately I needed a 9.5 and both the size 9 and 10 did not fit well. We ended up purchasing some socks as he was such a lovely lad. On Wednesday 03/04/2024, was shopping for Converse women sneakers. I was in the Brisbane City Hype DC store Albert St for 15 minutes. I didn't received a greeting on entry to their store, let alone assistance from staff, who were more friendly with the younger browsers than a potential buying customer. I felt let down and isolated by staff. Was it my age just over 60+, I'm pretty up with trends, completed year 12 the 3 years of uni then worked all my life or was it the colour of my skin. The later seems to be the only reason I didn't get service. I left after 15 minutes, empty and no purchase. Gutted I went elsewhere PLATYPUS store directly opposite and was greeted by friendly staff as soon as I got in the store. The staff assisted with my enquiry and were very helpful. They got my purchased. I left their store feeling uplifted and very happy after the dreadful non service of your business.
Just got served by a young gentleman this morning who helped me with an online return. His service was so wonderful and genuine. I work in retail myself so I really appreciated this. Thank you so much! He is truly an asset to your store.
I was served by Amelia yesterday. What a star. I came in to sort out an online order I had made, the incorrect order was sent to me. Amelia jumped into action as soon as I came into the store. She sorted it out, no dramas. She reordered the shoes I wanted and they came in the next morning!! Thank you so much Amelia. Have an amazing Christmas :-
Was looking for specific set of sneakers and visited a few other shops before going to Hype - all had really poor customer service no interest in helping / poor product knowledge / slow service. Walked into Hype - immediately helped by friendly staff. Knew their product well and was quick & efficient. Will definitely go back there soon!
Store staff was friendly and attentive but keeps looking at his watch like he's in a hurry to move on to another customer. Shoes with regular prices are high but they have shoes on sale as well.

No price matching on they shoes. They prices were the highest on Van shoes .We ended up buying 2 par of Van shoes from somewhere else .Staff was friendly and polite.
Great store we always went there even when it was on the the other side too.Everyone is helpful and friendly.
