As soon as I walked in I was approached by a very friendly brunette woman Sorry I don’t remember her name. I was looking shoes for work I’m a pick and packer and really need comfy shoes as I can be on my feet for up to 12 hours. The sales women was extremely professional and explained the benefits of each shoe to me. I ended up buying Nike Air Max 90s and they are so comfortable and well worth the price. If you’re looking for excellent customer service, I highly recommend the Hype store in the city, opposite the Myer Centre.
Very friendly and helpful staff, with a good quality and variety of shoes.
What an experience, I walked in looking for sneakers and as a size 14… I expected to be turned away. Instead, I sat down and 16 shoe boxes were put in front of me. We tried every single pair, and as a bit of a sneaker novice I didn’t really know what I was looking for. I was shown a variety of different brands and makes and learned a lot. In the end, it wasn’t to be - had they have fitted I’d have bought plenty! Everyone in the store showed care, commitment and brilliant customer service. I’ve not had a better retail experience in Brisbane.

Staff seem less than concerned with helping customers. Went in multiple times over our weeks stay at Brisbane and walked out every time as we weren't even greeted even though we clearly wanted to purchase shoes. Walked to every other shoe shop in the area to try and find the exact pair I wanted as wanted to shop somewhere, where staff actually wanted to help and make sales. Only went back because it was the only store to stock a particular shoe, still didn't get greeted. Took the shoe to the counter before I was approached. The store wasn't overly busy both times we went in.
A range of high quality shoes are provided, good service, nice price
I just recieved the best service from a tall super tan guy with black hair, I didn’t catch his name unfortunately but he talked about the shoes I tried on and mentioned his girlfriend who is a nurse wears them. He was super friendly and so helpful even though I was just wanting to try on a pair of docs for size so someone else could get them for me. Normally I find the service a little too cool or too pushy but his service was amazing, he is such an asset to Hype DC Brisbane City.
Hi I have recently bought a pair of shoes and pair of shocks and during checkout the friendly guy who helped me with my purchase advised me about Hype membership if I purchased almost $300 and I told him I bought few shoes from there previously around that price and they didn’t offer me a Hype membership - such a disappointing ! You should train your all staffs to inform their customers for the privileges and it will definitely get the customer to return and purchase from your store . Thank you
Went into hype dc and was served by Jordan, we had already gone into 2 other shoe stores and wernt even looked at to be served. He came over and assisted and asked me what I needed, he was attentive, fast and friendly! And in the end this store got my sale because it was the only one that gave me any form of customer service and great customer service at that!
Went into Foot Locker and got ignored and stared at for the 10 minutes I was in there, walked into Hype and was greeted with incredible kindness. The managers Lu and Jordan were so nice and the rest of the team working yesterday were great and will be shopping there again!
