Woohoo, it's GOULASH Saturday night! One of my favourite events at Hungarian Club. Amazing Foods, the Band was fantastic & good quality music for entertainment every guests or everyone was dancing. Great to celebrate & dating with friends or family.
The atmosphere was great, cosy and personable. The food was PERFECT and for a reasonable price. We will make it a habit to return.Food: 5/5
We went here last night for Golash night loved the combination of different flavours with the food and loved the band and the young Hungarian man singing Elvis songs. An awesome way to spend a night with friends.
BEWARE. We 13 people booked several weeks ago and checked a couple of days before. Barely in the door and we were told by a very unwelcoming women that we could only have schnitzel and there could be a long wait as there was a function next door in the hall. When asked why weren’t we told this on booking, she replied accusingly, that they hadn’t had the function booked at that time. No apology. No regrets My Hungarian parents would have given her a good slap if she was their daughter and behaved liked that. Obviously we didn’t stay and went to the local hotel for a very nice meal and pleasant efficient service. Shame. Very disappointing as we were all looking forward to eating some authentic Magyar food. We didn’t go to the Hungarian Club for schnitzel. We came hoping to have dishes such as paprikash chicken, tottot paprika or kaposta and palacinta. I do not recommend this place.
