Quick, smooth process to open a bank account. A really nice branch and staff are helpful and polite every time I visit.

Rubbish bank period, trying to access my living details for the 5th time and I still can't get my information, this is beyond ridiculous.
2% off every paypass transaction is great! However, the security is too tight, requiring a mobile app with which to log into online banking and even just to make a transaction. It's as though they specifically want to exclude the technologically unsavy.
Bad experience bad customer service. Horrible people to talk to on the phone. Invasive interrogations. Really bad customer service really really really bad horrible people on the other side of the phone
Waste of time, overly complicated to open a bank account. Gave up.
Credit card can rarely be used online and abroad. If your spent is too high you get a call from HSBC requesting to top-up. If you top-up too much to avoid these calls, you get a letter explaining that the card is not designed for that. The experience with the Malaysian HSBC is so much better.
