Received generally good consistent service from HSBC in Australia and overseas, speaking as a multinational account holder.  Personalised client manager makes banking more convenient by avoiding the general queues for service.

I tried to talk to them today about opening an account etc, when I finally did get through to a real person they were just plain hopeless. I had several pretty basic questions for them about moving funds internationally etc, all of which were really just too difficult for them to answer. I hung up, needless to say, I just went to NAB instead.

My wife and I met Home Finance banker Skye Liu in HSBC Subiaco branch, worst services in our banking experiences with HSBC, this girl is not professional at all and we can tell she doesn't know what she was talking about, she doesn't look she like her job, no follow up at all, even can not explain what is offset account. Feel very disappointed to HSBC. Compared with other bank, HSBC does not have good staff to provide professional services. If you wanna a home loan or banking services, stay away from HSBC especially Subiaco Branch.

The contact line for HSBC is terrible, having to give details numerous times, difficulty in getting through and being hung up on more than once.
