This is the third time I have been here, and so far everything is good. Better seats, nicer staff, I felt comfortable and enjoyed watching movies here. One point deducted for hot chocolate; I paid for regular size but I might have received the small size. If this wasn't human error, then the regular size isn't worth it. Anyway, it's only a 50-cent difference, so it's acceptable for now. Overall, it's better than Event Cinema!
I mean, look at these beds! And no, your neck doesn't strain, and yes - bring a blanket because it's super comfortable. I'll always choose Hoyts Wairau only because of the staff and atmosphere.nP.s, being a big girl, the seats make you feel tiny
Went to see a movie, just three of us, and it wasn't too bad. The popcorn was fresh that's a biggie. The service was good, and the movie was surprisingly interesting. That's a thumbs up from me. Good on you, Hoyts. Sorry, there are no photos with this one. Not ones I can use.
The chairs were quite comfortable, however, the cinema lacked atmosphere and was very quiet. It may not have the desired vibe, but it's not a bad choice if you're solely focused on watching the movie.
The Cinema itself is actually great staff are friendly and helpful, but the loos are a bit of a shame.nGreat comfortable seats, spacious and not too busy, always love going here.
