Recently returned from a visit to New Zealand where we spent a couple of nights at the Houhora Heads Wagener camp. We absolutely loved it, the facilities were perfect and spotlessly clean. We receive so much help and advice from Rebecca which helped us decide where to go and what to see. This is a lovely place and we left, only wishing we have much more time to spend in this delightful area. We shall certainly be back to try out the fishing, which unfortunately we didnt have time to enjoy. You wont be disappointed.

Beautiful spot near the harbour. great fishing and shellfish are plentiful. The gripes are the price of an unpowered site cost two people $20 per site and $13 per Person ($43) in total per night. The Manager Dawn Is very grumpy towards campers. The "full Kitchen" has nothing more than a dirty old microwave and hot plates that do not work- (I could put my hand directly on the hotplate after it had been turned on for ten minutes). I have to say the bathrooms were clean although the locks were broken, so you had to hold your hand to the door.
