Come for the amazing views and stay for the food. The property is peaceful and beautiful, but remote and secluded. We enjoyed the hospitality of our host, Chef Wayne Olsen and the house mascot, Ruby. Make new friends and relax in the tranquil Bay of Islands.

Absolutely stunning views of the New Zealand country side and ocean bays. The lodge itself was clean and modern, and the service was friendly and personal. Cannot recommend it enough!

Hi there! Spent three nights with my girlfriend at Huntaway! I am a passionate hobby chef and became a big fan of Wayne - the master chef and greatest host we met in NZ!! :) Brand new apartments on a incredible location. Wayne is a very nice and dedicated person. Communication from the first moment was excellent. Just a real experience! Wayne, hope to see you soon. Take care and kia ora from Berlin! :)) 😎✌️

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente mit traumhafter Aussicht auf das Meer. Liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Jedes in einem eigenen individuellen Stil. Der Manager kocht selbst und ist einer der besten Köche Neuseeland. Es empfiehlt sich, einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. Jederzeit wieder gern.
