Hong Ha Bakery

Very popular Vietnamese pork roll bakery. Don't be put off by the queue - it may be long, but it's fast moving. The bakery offers the usual variety of fillings - pork, chicken, meat ball, etc. - as well as some tasty sides - incl. spring rolls, fried dim sums. I think the popularity of the bakery lies in the bread rolls, which have a very light but extremely crunchy crust. Overall, I found the rolls solid, but I've had tastier ones in Sydney. I'd probably stop by if I happened to be in the neighborhood, but definetly wouldn't go out of my way to go there. Please 'Like' this review if you found it helpful.

I ordered the standard pork roll with extra chilis. I have to say that it was the best pork roll I have had here in Sydney. The bread was nice and crusty and the meat had a really good flavor along with all the other standard toppings. Even if there is a line here it goes really quick. I had a few orders in front but it was a matter of minutes before I was handed my sandwich. I would suggest getting multiple sandwiches as they are cheap and so tasty.

Amazing vietnamese baguettes, chicken roll and salad roll the best ones for my liking. Super fresh bread, baked throughout the day, as well as the roast chicken which is pulled several times a day. Tasty and freshly made. I've been there 15+ times and I will keep going when I'm around the area. Guarantee quality. Guarantee queue at lunch time as well but it walks really fast, they can easily serve a customer in less than a minute. Great food

Long queue but only needs about 5-8 min wait. Tried the pork and bbq pork bread rolls. The baguette isn't too hard. The pate in the bun is really yummy, and blends well with the pickled spring onions. Overall a satisfying meal though nothing much to shout for. As of Dec 2017, it's AUD6 each.

Probably the best banh mi for the area; I grew up in the west eating the ones from Cabramatta and Bankstown - which can't be beaten, but to save a long car ride to get the best banh mi in Sydney, these guys are a good alternative
