Story

Redline Coaches (also known as Tasmania's Own Redline) is a coach transport company in Tasmania, Australia. The company is involved in both charter services and regular routes from Tasmania's three major cities - Burnie to Launceston and Launceston to Hobart, and in 1988 added an additional run, from Smithton to Burnie. In addition the coaches run from the state's major airports to the city centres.

We travelled from Hobart to Launceston for my husband George's 80th birthday. The bus was wonderful - luxury plus - the driver so friendly. However, the return trip was in an older bus - very cramped. We found the seat belts VERY restrictive on both trips. As we are older folk 76 and 80 we do not think we would care to take the trip again, unless the newer bus could be guaranteed. This saddens us as we love Launceston.
Staff is really nice and extremely helpful. Customer service is 7 star ! Centre has washroom facility, so you can get easy before your journey.
Tamara who was at the service desk was super friendly. She gave everyone a big smile and was so kind. The bus driver had some humor too. Thanks!
If I could give this service zero stars, I would.nThe lady at the hobart centre desk was very kind, however the bus driver older woman was the rudest individual I have ever encountered. Yelled at several passengers for arriving 5 minutes prior to departure which I understand may be frustrating, however is never worth this treatment, several passengers were crying as a result of the yelling and horrible words. Quite literally abusing passengers verbally. This driver should be removed from service.
We booked tickets in advance from Hobart to Launceston. The service was friendly and the bus came on time. It was a pleasant drive.nnInstagram: @remotevagabond
