The swimming pool is fantastic, offering a great variety of swimming options for all skill levels. Perfect for both beginners and experienced swimmers!
The facilities are good and cater for different uses. Great for kids on school holidays.nThe 3 stars are reflective as a parent/spectator - the general atmosphere is way too hot, humid and has an intense chlorine smell.nHaving some natural airflow would go a long way.
I had to select one star in order to leave this review, but it doesn’t deserve even that. The gym in the centre is overcrowded with old or broken equipment, there is inadequate floor space, and the staff are rude, arrogant and inconsiderate. I recommend prospective gym goers select any other gym in Hobart over this one.
Not the best not the worst, sauna is out of service fairly often recently, pool length changes from 25 to 50m, could do with better maintenance, gym is fairly small but not necessarily undersized, I appreciate having the facilities though
I've been a member here for a while now, so hopefully, I can give an accurate review. Upon entry, you are greeted by staff who are friendly and very helpful. The cafe is well stocked and responsibly priced with good opening hours. The spa and hot rooms are great if you utilise this, some people tend to hover too long in the spas, but just pick your time of day. The leisure pool is great for small kids, and the big slide is perfect for everyone, even better when the bucket is working. It is disappointing when parents don't follow rules and the pool is shut because of 'contaminates'. I've never had issues finding space to swim some laps, and there is always room available. The member toilet and shower facilities are great, but when they are closed, you need to use the public rooms, which is not so much a nice experience. The shared facility family rooms are probably some of the most disgusting facilities I've ever used, regardless of the time of day. For this reason, I've taken a star off. The gym is tidy, clean, and modern with friendly staff. It's also a TechnoGym, so you can link everything to the app and track your workouts. I enjoy the classes, and the instructors are friendly and offer lots of alternatives. Overall, it's a great venue with lots on offer.
