I've been a member here for a while now, so hopefully, I can give an accurate review. Upon entry, you are greeted by staff who are friendly and very helpful. The cafe is well stocked and responsibly priced with good opening hours. The spa and hot rooms are great if you utilise this, some people tend to hover too long in the spas, but just pick your time of day. The leisure pool is great for small kids, and the big slide is perfect for everyone, even better when the bucket is working. It is disappointing when parents don't follow rules and the pool is shut because of 'contaminates'. I've never had issues finding space to swim some laps, and there is always room available. The member toilet and shower facilities are great, but when they are closed, you need to use the public rooms, which is not so much a nice experience. The shared facility family rooms are probably some of the most disgusting facilities I've ever used, regardless of the time of day. For this reason, I've taken a star off. The gym is tidy, clean, and modern with friendly staff. It's also a TechnoGym, so you can link everything to the app and track your workouts. I enjoy the classes, and the instructors are friendly and offer lots of alternatives. Overall, it's a great venue with lots on offer.
It's ok.nnNot the best.nnThe gym classes are in a room shared by a small training area / platform at the back.nnSo it's not ideal when doing yoga . You can't relax at all.nThe room is freezing cold too.nnOften you can hear noise outside the classroom as there is a gym area. For some reason people congregate outside the class doors chatting . You can hear everything.nnA lot of the classes are high intensity and not much posture correction from the trainers.nnI prefer to be educated whilst attending a class not interested in talking about the weather or listening to terrible jokes from trainers.nnThe sauna is a shared one and is small not infrarednThere are two jacuzzi's not big ones so can get a bit full and people a bit up close and personal.nnReasonably priced for whats on offer.nnCan only pay fortnightly which doesn't suit everybody .
I have been a member of Hobart Aquatic Centre for years. I want to say their Cafe is quite lovely, especially for getting a boost of energy after a workout. A special thanks to Randolph, who provides the best customer service I could expect. His attention to detail and friendly demeanour make every visit enjoyable. Plus, the high-quality coffee he makes is top-notch!
Good aquatic center! Facilities clean; they have a little spa jacuzzi, dry and wet sauna, three big pools, a wet playground for the kids and a little gym with classes. Is not expensive if you have the membership all for 57 two weeks and the admission 52 dolars.
It would have been 5 stars, but after calling to ask about the inflatables earlier in the week we were told they'd be up. Arrived after driving an hour to find they weren't up because they didn't have the staff to man it. the slide was open intermittently, and the diving board was open but a very long line up.nnFood was okay but not fantastic. Dipping dots were delicious though and the staff were lovely.nThe kids loved the slide and play area.
