Car park is way to small for the size of the facility, and it is also used by workers in Hobart CBD who want free parking. The 25m pool could do with being re-tiled as it is showing its age. The 25m and 50m pools often have lanes booked for school programs, learn to swim, swimming competitions, and water polo competitions which limits access to lanes for casual visitors and members, hence overcrowding, even during off peak periods.nnOn a positive, the change rooms are excellent with plenty of shower and toilet cubicles as well as lockers in the members change rooms. The staff are super friendly and helpful, both lifeguards and at reception. The change rooms are cleaned regularly throughout the day, and lifeguards perform regular welfare checks in both the sauna and change room areas. The facility is also trans friendly so members of the LGBTIQ community should feel comfortable coming to this facility.
I have been participating in deep water aerobics over the past 4 months and would love to commend Lisa one of the instructors for doing a great job. Lisa is friendly, always happy and all her classes are enjoyable. I always come away feeling refreshed and very satisfied I've had a great work out. Well done Lisa!
Please consider this is not a personal attack and accept it as a feedback contribution.nnOlivia is a lifeguard there and approached me in a very rude manner calling me over with one finger and gave me a command to stop helping my niece learn to swim. Yes with her tone and attitude that was a command. I didn’t want any trouble so I ask can you show me the policy if it’s in the policy yes of course I will stop. She showed me her attitude again and walked away. Her lifeguard supervisor came to me and said as long as we consider you are conducting swimming lesson we have rights to stop you from doing that. We don’t have to provide evidence. That’s sounds more like a bully than a professional problem solving skill.nnAnd please Olivia, do not lie. Half of a bread is still a bread but half of the truth is not a truth. I hope you can do better next time.nnI filled in the complaint with front desk staff and they said the management will contact me but it’s been nearly a week now and still nothing. Guess they are not taking it into consideration seriously.nnI just wanted to say that it makes no sense and kinda ridiculous when the pool stops people from helping children being safe around water just because they think it’s a swimming lesson and refuses to provide the policy about that. Like I said, I put it here not because I wanted to release my anger or anything. It’s because I haven’t heard back from the management. I don’t want any trouble and genuinely come in peace. You’re the big pool. This small feedback not gonna make your pool looks bad but I just leave it here so you can reinvest in staff and customer service skill. Thanks for your time.
The swimming pool is fantastic, offering a great variety of swimming options for all skill levels. Perfect for both beginners and experienced swimmers!
Great way to spend a couple of hours with the children.nBut... Not a single price on the drinks fridge. No signage anywhere to tell you what you're paying for each drink. It's a council run facility and should be required
