First time renting from Hireace, and what a wonderful experience it was! The booking process was incredibly smooth and easy, their pricing was very reasonable and their service was above all first class! The branch manager was very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in explaining every little detail. From pickup to drop-off the entire experience was hassle-free and smooth. I highly recommend Hireace - especially the Mt Wellington branch - and will be going back in the future myself for sure. Thanks again!
What a lovely team at Mt Wellington Hireace. Service was top notch, location was ideal and drop off was great too, fast and efficient. I would recommend to others and use this location again. Thank you to the guys that helped us out. I would also note that the building was very cold and that management needs to fix the building so the lads don't freeze, poor guys. Online order system works great, easy to follow and fast follow-up by the team at Mt Wellington. When we arrived we were seen to quickly and the service was friendly, with flexible options presented that helped make our move day that little bit easier. The cargo van was perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend hiring from Hireace Mt Wellington because of the service and quality. Located on Lunn Ave with big easy to see signage and space in the lot to turn around without much trouble. Cheers!

You were efficient in supplying the truck I requested, double checking all liquids, and it was clean and ready to go. You 'made it work' to fit in the extra day hire, and return time. I am grateful.
I recently hire a Toyota hiace from hireace Mt Welling to take some furniture to Waiheke the booking was done on line with confirmation coming back very quickly. On pick up they had all you need to protect you goods as well as tie downs all very easy as was the drop off. Extremely reasonable pricing. Well done Hireace Mt Wellington.
Rubbish policys for customers, rusty old trailers, bad customer service, took a car trailer i hired down the line and back and when i got back one of the clips for the ramp had snapped and it was obvious it wasnt me using the trailer wrong just rusty old welds keeping their stuff together, tried to use the jockey wheel and it didnt even lift off my ute and the jockey wheel was fully extended so it ended up falling out the tube it goes into, tried to explain to them its not safe nor should it be my fault the jockey wheel fell apart as it should be able to jock the trailer up, i wasnt told i couldnt jock the trailer up loaded and its not in my hireace agreement, but anyhow i got pinned their repair fee for a jockey wheel, a week after they said theyd call me back the next day with whats happening, great customer service as i didnt have any money in my account and they asked permission to take the money out which i didnt give them because i missed there call at 3:30 on a friday a week after last talking to them. Ps hireace i hope you guys like bad reviews because alot of them are coming.
UPDATE: amazing customer service - was contacted by their customer service and they have gone the extra mile to make things right. They completed an investigation which I really appreciate. ORIGINAL POST: The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I was trying to get out of the parking lot by doing a 3-point-turn and the man, despite seeing me and the driveway being narrow, pushed through the gate and started tooting at me loudly and aggressively to reverse. As I was reversing, he did not wait but was revving impatiently and pushing forward and bumped into my car! No damage was done, but was still completely unnecessary.
Slight problem with mis calculation of mileage on return. Query resolved within 5 minutes. Peter was prompt, well mannered , courteous. Thanks for resolving the problem so quickly.
Great Customer service, I did the online check in which sped up the process. It was a rainy day but the staff member still came out and helped me hook up the trailer, and also stood behind while I did a test to make sure the lights were all working. The trailer was clean and tidy, couldn't ask for anything else really. Have since hired another one, this time from their East Tamaki Branch and had the same good experience.
Great service, great price but the building needs improvement. I felt sorry for the workers as building was very cold. Other than that great outcome and will use in the future.
