Story

HIJINKS takes over popular venues and re-imagines them as after-hours playground and pop-up bars for adults. Featuring interactive activities and live performances by some of Sydney's brightest up-and-coming artists, these events remix the city into something unique and entirely unexpected.

Since September 2014, Hijinks has run sold out events at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Madame Tussauds. Get a group together and leave your inhibitions at the door!

Hijinks is presented by Merlin Events in association with The Festivalists. Partners include Little Creatures and Stoli.

Had an amazing time with my Housemates here! It was our first time going out together, worked great as a bonding experience. Absolutely loved every bit of my experience there. We went for the 5 games session and each of them were great and highly interactive. The interior and decorations are simply so gorgeous.
Overall a fun and unique experience, we did 2 sets of 5 rooms and time went by very quickly. Some of the rooms were much more fun than others so it’s a mixed bag. It does get quite warm in some rooms as you get into it. The scoring for the Tetris room was not working so our final score was not accurate. Weekends can be quite chaotic will a lot of screaming children.
A fun concept and cool decor but was disappointed with the experience. Felt very rushed and the rooms were too pricey for the time we did 1 set. Customer service was not great. We ordered 4 drinks using the QR code and after 20 minutes waiting, I asked if they had been made yet- they hadn’t. It took another 7 minutes for them to get 4 drinks to us. It was not busy so I don’t know why it took that long. Overall, it was a unique experience but I wouldn’t go again
We had a team building there it was so much fun and the concepts were really innovative. 5 rooms for 5 different games, which last 4min each. The decoration and the atmosphere allow you to travel to a different world. The staff was so friendly and super nice. Sadly they had an issue with our score and we did not have the ranking of the teams.
A fun night out with a group of friends. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Games were fun and make sure to take competitive friends along to make the challenges even more exciting! Food was nice. Drinks were good. Book your experience and fight for the points!
What an amazing place! The design of this place is sensational everything has been done with such attention to detail. We had the best time, doing two rounds was so worth it. If your looking for a venue to have a laugh and get a bit competitive then this is the place. The staff were great as well and made the whole experience something we will remember forever.
Super fun for a date night - including a friend date or a sibling date. The tasks are definitely made for more than just 2 people but we still did pretty well! I imagine a full team of 6 would do much better.
We had a fun time, we did two sets of five rooms, and I see a lot of people complaining about the 30-minute break in between, but the rooms were all quite fast paced and we were grateful for the break in between. I love all the hotel-style décor, and each room was fun and different. The only thing I would say is, you can ignore the instruction to arrive 30-minutes early, as we did as asked and on arrival, we were told to buy a drink at the bar and come back in 30 minutes.
Great family fun! Wonderful decor with engaging upbeat staff. Rooms are 4minutes each up diverse and fun highly recommended for family or date night.
This place is AMAZING!!! Came here with my school today for a leadership excursion, and it's fair to say that we all had a whale of a time as we ventured through the various challenge rooms and played mini golf in the plethora of courses. The entire facility is so meticulously designed, especially the challenge rooms, with various themed sections each with rooms that have different, amusing activities. Furthermore, the staff were so friendly and supportive, adding to the New-York-inspired atmosphere of the facility. If I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars I would, but I can't :
