We recently visited Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne to watch the MJ Michael Jackson Musical. Unfortunately we arrived a little late, but the staff handled the situation incredibly well. They were very conscious of not interrupting the performance and carefully waited for the right moment to assist us to our seats. Their professionalism and consideration for both the performers and the audience really stood out.nnOnce inside, it was clear how beautiful the theatre is. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a classic, grand feel that really adds to the experience of seeing a live show. The architecture and detailing make it feel like you’ve stepped into a piece of Melbourne’s theatre history.nnDuring the interval, getting drinks and snacks from the bar was very easy. Even with a large crowd, the team worked efficiently and everything moved smoothly. When it was time to return to the show, the staff again worked seamlessly to guide everyone back to their seats quickly so the performance could resume without disruption.nn.nnOverall it was a fantastic theatre experience. The staff were professional, organised and thoughtful, the venue is stunning, and the whole night ran smoothly despite our late arrival. A beautiful and historic place to see a show in Melbourne.
Her Majesty's Theatre is an incredibly well kept Theatre with excellent viewing from pretty much every seat.nThe building is a lovely structure with lots of staircases to give your legs a workout. You have a sense of achievement by the time you get to your seat.nIf you suffer from a fear of heights definitely don't book seats in the balconies. Otherwise they're amazing!nnSeats are very comfortable. Acoustics are pretty decent. You'll love it!
A great place to observe theatre. We recently observed MJ the musical. It was the best musical we have seen so far. You must book beforehand and arrive a bit earlier as finding parking at the area is difficult. The theatre house doesn't have any lifts. So it is not possible for people with special needs to observe theatre here. The number of stairs are a lot.
We recently saw MJ the Musical at Her Majesty’s Theatre, and the venue itself really added to the whole experience.nnHer Majesty’s Theatre is absolutely beautiful, grand, classic and full of character. From the moment you walk in, it feels special. The layout is easy to navigate, staff were welcoming and helpful, and the seating provided great views of the stage, even with the theatre at capacity.nnThe acoustics are excellent, which made the music and vocals sound incredible, and the atmosphere during the show was electric. It’s the kind of venue that makes a night at the theatre feel like a proper occasion, not just a show.nnCombined with the high-energy performance, iconic music and stunning choreography of MJ the Musical, it made for a memorable night out in Melbourne. Whether you’re a theatre regular or heading out for a special occasion, Her Majesty’s Theatre is a fantastic place to see a major production.
We recently attended MJ the Musical at Her Majesty’s Theatre, and the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The show itself was phenomenal. An unforgettable tribute to Michael Jackson.nnWhat really stood out, though, was the exceptional staff at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but Belinda and Matty deserve a special mention. They were amazing in assisting me in my wheelchair, making sure I was comfortable at all times and ensuring that whatever my family or I needed was taken care of. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism truly went above and beyond and made the night stress free and enjoyable.nnThank you to the wonderful team at Her Majesty’s Theatre. We can’t wait to return!
