Helen has been a prominent figure on the well known James St in Central Burleigh Heads for over 15 years now. Her bustling shop, Helen's Heavenly Bulk Foods has expanded into bigger premises with the addition of a juice bar and attracts a wide variety of locals and tourists who peruse through the vast array of nuts and seeds, mueslis & cereals, baking goods, gourmet chocolates & lollies and organic goodies on display. HHBF was the first to stock the now famous Acai berry and supplies the powder form of the berry, capsules, frozen puree as well as selling the delicous Acai juices and famous crunchola bowls. Customers travel from Brisbane on week-ends to experience this delicious & healthy Acai. Feedback is that HHBF make them the “best”.

Third time I give them a chance but no more. 25 minutes for a juice and there were 2 people before me. 4 young girls in the back, chatting away. When I asked where my juice was they said there was another 5 minutes of waiting. So I asked for a refund and left. Went down the road where there were 5 people before me and got my juice in less than 5 minutes. Seriously guys. I know 15year old girls are cheap to hire but the business is not running like it should. Never again.

Unfortunately the service falls short.
The young red head girl today had a very bad attitude surrounding her feeling on providing an element of service and to be willing to make a customer feel welcome or alloud to ask a few questions.
She became passive aggressive with her body language by slamming products down with unjustified frustration and aggression, all beacuse she had to do some work, and seemed inconvenienced that she was required to be usefull and help a customer in need and to truly get familiar with the products the are selling.
My husband has cancer and i was trying to choose the best and most affordable methods to purchase his health care remedies. To ask the price break down to a tablet form compared to bulk buy, was all to much for the girl.
At no point should a employee make a customer feel that this question is inappropriate. 
Her ignorance and arrogance has made a easy decision for me to never purchase from this store again.
There are other health food stores out there, ones that provide basic information and pollite and welcoming service.
Even after spending $140 in one purchase did not help her change or ill attitude.
I suggest for management to review there standards of staff.

Third time in less than a month that I’ve been here, and third time it’s taken 20 minutes to get a regular smoothie. I’m a sucker for punishment it seems.

Although I like the food here I will not be coming back. Three times I went last week I waited at least half an hour for a coco whip or acai bowl. Coco whip comes out of a machine & requires no preparation. It is extremely slow and not worth my time. The owner really needs to step inside for two minutes to realize they could be far more efficient and therefore make a lot more money.
