This park is stunning, full of beautiful heritage trees, lots of deciduous trees that give beautiful autumn colors and leaf fall which kids and dogs love to play in. The lake is lovely with much bird life but feeding not permitted as well as a waterfall and some pretty bridges. It spans 4 blocks and easily joins up with Central Park… another lovely area with some outstanding cafes and coffee shops to break the trip.
Stunning little oasis in the midst of the Stonnington busyness. Kudos to the grounds-keepers.nThere is a large area of open water so be mindful with young children here. I have so many wonderful memories here from when I was a tiny takka and it hasn't changed a bit......
Nice spot. Pretty walk and well maintained gardens. Lots of different plant species and a good spot for a picnic. Lots of chairs and plenty of grass space for a game of something. Nice lake with ducks and stuff. Easy parking. I'd go there again. Good for family photos spot but no wedding photography or ceremonies allowed.
Lovely park. Probably only a km or so end to end, but beautifully maintained with a little lake at one end. Street parking only, but it seemed east enough to park. Benches here and there on which to sit and chat, or read or just to catch a quiet moment. A few short trails to explore at the lake end, as well as always appreciated toilets.
A quiet garden with a great little lake. Good for a short walk or a picnic. Plenty of space for children to run around or play ball. Toilet block is near to lakeside path. Dogs on leads only.nFYI: few seats, no table furniture, no water.
