Delicious gooey scrolls, the hype is worth it! This is THE cinnamon scroll spot in Melbourne.nnThey have cinnamon and tiramasu flavoured scrolls, not sure if they do flavours on other days. Plenty of other baked goods that I look forward to trying next time :nnThey cook them in fresh batches, not in one giant batch, so every cinnamon scroll is fresh and straight from the oven. It was very busy, there's not really any seating available when it's busy. I recommend to take it to the park nearby or to the beach :nnScrolls are $7.50 each which is a steal!
My oh my! The cinnamon scroll was bloody incredible. Soft centred, perfectly sweetened glaze. Ignore my pic as I got mine takeaway and some of the glaze stuck to the paper- but I had one beforehand and loved it. I should’ve tried the other baked goodies but I’ll be back again.
Adorable little cafe with good coffee and an amazing cinnamon scroll. It’s huge and soft with a generous amount of icing that’s not too sweet. And turns out it’s the same owners as Heart Coffee in Richmond so you can also get the scrolls there.
The Rueben sandwich was succulent with oh so satisfying sourdough, soft and juicy on the inside, crisp on the outside. The coffee was A1. And the cakes ... I have no words!nWe didn't fancy sitting in the sun, so the delightful girl helping us carried the table a long way to a shady spot, with a smile.nIt was a chance stop spied from the bike path, and we'll be back.
The best scrolls in Melbourne. Not too sweet and doesn’t make you feel sick. After coming from NZ and not being able to find a decent cinnamon scroll, this place hits the spot.nUnlike Sebby’s the cream cheese doesn’t overtake the flavour and the dough is soft and fluffy.nMade fresh, ours were still a little warm which was lovely.nThe tiramisu option was good for my friend as she is allergic to cinnamon but loves scrolls. Had no issues with cross contamination.nThe madeleine was delicious.nLimited seating however, so expect to wait for a table or take away.nCan get quite busy.
