My wife was racially profiled and made to feel like a second class citizen by a middle aged female employee today. Helen to be exact. She was followed around the store as if she was going to steal and then told she wasn’t allowed to try on a particular type of garment when other “white” ladies were trying on more intimate garments such as bras. The store manager completely took the employees side and offered no comfort or apology to my wife. Is this how you treat your customers? Especially those with different colour skin???
First time visiting this store. Located inside Westfield Chermside shopping centre. Not a bad store at all, very similar to TKMaxx, with some slight differences to stock and amount of stock. The store has multiple items, ranging from current seasonal Christmas gifts, linen, bedding, clothing and shoes both ladies and gents and household appliances such as vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, crockery etc. at reasonable prices and currently some good sale prices. The store has a very light and airy feel and easy to navigate around, however, I feel an update or modernisation is probably due, as it did seem a little dated. The employees we encountered were very happy, friendly and more than happy to help. Access to the store is excellent, with multiple parking areas, directly off of Gympie road, both covered and non-covered. Regarding parking costs, the first 2 hours are free, however, if you use the Westfield app and become a member, the first 4 hours are free. Great idea, however not well advertised we didn't know so our 5 hour stay cost $14. I did ask a centre information employee, and was told that no parking validation was available here, spending a certain amount gives free parking just the app. Public toilets are not available in the Harris store, however there are multiple clean toilets located throughout the shopping centre. Thank you.
I was shopping there today 15/1/23 around 4:30. I was looking at the deals on shoes and trying on. When my kid brother and I were approached by a PAID EMPLOYEE who asked me if I could put the shoes away neatly because she's cleaning them and I'm making a mess. I wasn't leaving the shoes askew on the floor, they were boxed back and put back in the correct pile, this employee was rude and grossly unprofessional because I wasn't lining them up perfectly. I don't know if she needed a power trip to end her day, but the audacity and she didn't even say please. Is this how Harris Scarfe treats their customers? It was a really disappointing experience. The employee was middle aged and had short blonde hair.
Love shopping here, specially when they reduced their product pricing down. I usually spend hours to get the stuff that I wanted. They had quality products and easy to find things. The only downside of this shop is lack of chairs to sit when your trying some shoes. Would be nice to add even 1 chair in every isles. They allocated only 1 chair for these women shoes section.
Yes happy to shop here for bamboo socks with paper packaging , although you still have those little nylon thingys holding them together... AoK

And Lots of brands such as Linen House, Circulon, Tefal, Maxwell & Williams, Tontine, Bonds, Berlei, Adidas and Puma. Even ‘Simply Vera Vera Wang’ fashion and homewares collection. A large retailer with many amazing offers and discounts.
Enjoy the selection of product, but would live to see the full store being used. Staff friendly.
So many special's and a lovely Clean shop.
Great place for homewares such as pillows, sheets, dinner sets. Really good sales. Clothing, shoes. There is so much to see.
