Great camping spot close to town. Has sheltered picnic facilities, toilets, grassy lawns and the best fire pit. Good bushwalking along the trail.

Harding's Paddock is a great picnic area in the Ipswich area. It has good facilities. But, you will need to bring your own water and take your rubbish. The trails offer great views. Consider experience and fitness levels when selecting trails. The Flinders Goolman trail is a brutal hike for the unprepared, with many hills, and a return journey if you haven't organised a lift from Flinders Plum picnic area.

A very pleasant and well maintained reserve with great facilities and a good selection of walking tracks including some for horses and mountain bikes. Plenty of wildlife and a nice place for a picnic.

Hilly climbs, good test of how unfit you are. Not ideal for kids, steep in places and lots of ants. But scenery, when visible is great.
